businesswire.com: appendTo, the company dedicated to jQuery, the world’s most popular JavaScript Library, released data today showing that the percentage of websites that have jQuery deployed has officially surpassed the percentage of websites that have Adobe Flash deployed. Statistics compiled by HTTP Archive, which analyze the world’s top 17,000 websites, show that 48 percent of the sites use jQuery, while 47 percent use Flash.

After bringing out Samsung Galaxy S2 to compete with Apple’s iPhone, Samsung is all set to release their version of 3D smartphone known as Samsung Galaxy 3D. This time, Samsung is competing with HTC’s EVO 3D and LG Thrill 4G.
HTC EVO 3D brought out multimedia capabilities powered by Google integrated software, possibly one of the best Internet experience available on a smartphone. Unlike HTC EVO 3D which is priced at $199.99 with a two-year contract with Sprint, LG Thrill 4G going to AT&T will be priced at $99.99. Being the first 3D dual core smartphone, HTC EVO 3D has become one of the top selling smartphone in Sprint network.

Straight Talk, Walmart‘s pre-paid cellular service, is all set to offer an Android device for just $149.88 with no contract. The Samsung Galaxy Precedent, though sold separately from the cellular service, is designed to work on the unlimited deal that Straight Talk is offering customers. For $45 a month, you get unlimited talk, text, web and 411 information.
There is not much information on the phone, and no launch date is mentioned. Those interested can head to the straighttalkandroid website and register their email address to get notified when more news comes out.

Dictionary class is one of the most handy in AS3. However, I haven’t seen many people using it to the fullest and this includes me.
Today I have had a programming requirement where I wanted to access few

The Web turns 20 today. Twenty years ago today, Tim Berners-Lee wrote the world’s first website, a placeholder page in the then-nascent Hypertext Mark-Up Language.
The original (can there be an original?) page is mirrored here and it’s a fascinating look at the seed crystal that catalyzed change to the world as we knew it in those heady pre-Internet days.

According to Mindflash.com, roughly 45 percent of employers use social media sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter to screen potential employees. Out of which, 18 percent of employers have found information that has actually facilitated their decision to hire a job applicant. Of those surveyed, 35 percent of employers were reported to have found content that cause them not to hire a candidate for an open position.
